Groups

Groups help the members of your organization look at the right things. Each group has asset filters, and members of the group can use it as a persistent filter on the Attack Surface and Vulnerabilities pages.

Adding members to a group does not restrict their visibility. Users can switch between group filters to view vulnerability and asset data from any group, even groups they aren’t assigned to.

Where to Find Groups

Click your team name at the top of the left sidebar, select Organization, and open the Groups tab. Only admins of the team can see this tab.

Creating a Group

  1. Click Create group.
  2. Name group: enter a name and, optionally, a description.
  3. Add asset filters: type an asset name (an apex domain, a subdomain or an IP address) and choose what the filter includes: only an exact match of the name, or ALL or ONLY the subdomains of the asset. Filters for subdomains show a * at the beginning, for example *.example.com.
  4. Add members: choose the members of the group.
  5. Confirm: check the group details and save.

Editing and Removing a Group

Open the group’s actions menu and select Edit to change its name, description or asset filters. To delete a group, select Remove and confirm with Delete group.
